Release statuses
In validation means the extension exists as working code but is being separated from private-store assumptions, packaged independently and tested on clean environments. Planned means the product area is part of the roadmap but does not have a public release candidate.
Release gate
A public extension should pass standalone installation, explicit compatibility testing, lifecycle checks and documentation review before release.
Compatibility
OpenCart and PHP support will be published only after clean-install testing. Unlisted combinations should be treated as unverified.
Lifecycle documentation
Each released extension is expected to include installation, configuration, upgrade, uninstall, troubleshooting and changelog information.
